A couple of tumultuous years left me quite drained, rundown and fat! Nothing quite seemed to inspire me to get my mind, my body or my spirit together. I’d pretty much resigned myself to the fact that that was my new life, my new body. I’ve never enjoyed a gym. Walking into that big intimidating space, unsure of what to do with what machine so although I had a membership never set foot into it for years. My daughter on a similar path, had heard of HIIT and her friend had great results so practically dragged me through the doors of HIIT and quite literally into the arms of Keelan, my incredible Coach who took me through a 6-week challenge.

I’ve been a regular here for 8 months now. Probably the most empowering 8 months of my life. I’ve learnt just so much about my body, how much I can do, how just the 30 minutes of focusing on nothing but breathing and not falling over is the most remarkable therapy. My body feels toned and I feel muscles where previously I just felt jiggles.

This must surely be the most incredible fitness family ever. I’m still in constant awe of what JP and these incredible Coaches have achieved and the energy and kindness and motivation they expend every day on each one of their clients. Feeling like a family member, encouraged, sometimes even dragged around the car park just to get you to the end, never alone but under mentorship, sincere friendship and a spirit of togetherness that sets HIIT Fitness head and shoulders above any of its peers.

Joining HIIT Family will change your life in a way you’ll never expect, your body responds, your mind awakens and your spirit soars. Friendships are made with outstanding men and women and the feeling of belonging is truly overwhelming. JP, Keelan, Clayton, Lulu, Joshua, Justine, Stasha – you are all changing lives!! Please never stop doing what you are doing!! You are a blessing to all of us on a daily basis."

Looking at this before pic is tough. I feel as though I do not know that person anymore. That isn't me, or at least, it is not the person that I am today. That pic was taken in May 2018 at a time of shock and despair. In 2015 my mother passed away. it wasn't sudden but I don't think anything can prepare you for the moment you have to say goodbye to a parent. In 2016 tragedy struck again, my brother passed away after a short battle with depression, he didn't manage loosing my mom and suffered a debilitating anxiety attack whilst travelling in Singapore, 6 months later he left us. Loosing my brother was a pain like no other and it took a huge toll on me.

I threw myself into survival mode, fighting back the devastation and covering it up, hoping that I could get through each day without breaking down. This effected my weight, I barely ate, but I didn't exercise either. I had no way of managing my stress levels. The cortisol was ballooning my weight and finally I was diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue by a Dr.

As I sat in front of the Dr while he wrote up a script for tranquillisers and antidepressants I made a decision right there and then that I was going to take control of me. I walked out of that Dr's office, I threw the script in the bin and I walked into HIIT's studio.

I was going to fix myself, I owed that to my mom and my brother and mostly my family. I was going to find joy again. And so my journey with Keelan started. He lay the path out ahead of me and I had all the support tools in place. I threw myself into every class. Giving my all. From the moment I walked into my first class The Trainers knew my name and I knew they cared. Fast forward a year later and I have made lifelong friends, I have broken barriers and I have learnt that sometimes all you need is some therapy in the form of laughter, endorphins and an incredible team of Trainers.

I often tell JP, Keelan, Lulu, Clayton and Josh that they have changed my life, but I don't think they will ever know the full impact of what they did, and what they still do, every single day! I know the sacrifice they make. And that is why, once you walk through the doors at HIIT, you will never be the same person you were before. Everyone deserves this in their lives, HIIT works holistically! Ask anyone you see on the training floor, we are all obsessed!

I was randomly browsing Facebook when I came across the advert of HIIT Fitness. I decided to complete the set of questions. When done, I submitted, I remember being so overwhelmed, but it was done. They called me almost right away and I was like ‘wow these people move fast’, but I’m so glad that I took the first step.

In the first month I could immediately see results and so far, it has done great for my health. My sister is complaining about she has been picking up weight and I’m like “It’s probably mine that’s falling off, but you can keep it because I aint taking it back!” I believe when you look good you feel good and when you feel good you do good.

I haven’t tried other gyms, but I can tell you honestly there is nothing like HIIT Fitness where I come from. HIIT Fitness is absolutely the best!

I would definitely recommend HIIT Fitness – friends, family, everyone for that matter. HIIT Fitness is one of a kind. The Coaches are top fit and awesome! They create such a warm atmosphere, they make you feel welcome, call you by your name and they give you that sense of belonging and the awesome friends you get to meet here makes everything even more worth it."
